Check AI answers, one claim at a time
An AI answer is many claims stitched together. Some hold up and some do not. Blaine.chat is a chat assistant that checks the claims in its own answers with code, rules and real sources, then puts a mark beside each part.
What you see
- Supported: two independent reliable sources agree with the claim.
- Disputed: a reliable source says something different, or the answer clashes with something said earlier.
- Corrected: a part was proven wrong, so it was fixed or taken out. Tap it to see the original.
- Unconfirmed: no source settled it.
Tap any mark to see why it was given. You see what held up, what did not, what was revised, and why.
How to check an AI answer yourself
- Split the answer into single claims: one fact, number or date each.
- Work out anything that can be worked out, like math, dates and unit conversions.
- Look for two independent reliable sources for each remaining claim.
- Treat anything you could not settle as unconfirmed, not as true.
Blaine does these steps for you on every answer, so there is nothing to switch on.
Where the sources come from
Blaine looks to reputable sources, such as journals, government and official sites. Forums, social posts and SEO blogs do not count. A claim is only marked Supported when two independent reliable sources agree.
