What you may not do

Intellectual property

Blaine™, Blaine.chat™, the Blaine logo, and the Blaine claim marks (✓ Supported, ✎ Corrected, ? Disputed, — Unconfirmed) and their visual design are trademarks of Blaine.chat. Use of the Blaine logo without written permission is prohibited. The Blaine interface design, claim-marking system, prompt breakdown process, and determinism-first checking algorithm are proprietary. Copying, scraping, reverse engineering, or reproducing them without written permission is prohibited.

Your content

You keep ownership of everything you put into Blaine and everything it produces for you. You give us only the permission we need to run the service for you — to store, process and transmit your content so the app can do what you asked. We do not sell your content and we do not use it to train our own models.

Accuracy, and its limits

Blaine checks its answers before showing them to you, and tells you what it was able to establish about each claim. That checking is the point of the product and we take it seriously — but no system of this kind is infallible, and Blaine can still be wrong.

Blaine's answers are information, not professional advice. Do not rely on them alone for medical, legal, financial, or safety-critical decisions. Where the stakes are high, verify independently before acting.

Availability

We aim to keep the service running and improving, but we do not guarantee it will be uninterrupted or error-free. We may change, suspend, or discontinue features. If we discontinue the service entirely, we will give you reasonable notice and a way to export your data.

Ending your access

You may stop using Blaine and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or close an account that breaches these terms, or where we are required to by law. Where circumstances reasonably allow, we will tell you why and give you a chance to put it right.

Liability

To the extent the law allows, Blaine is provided "as is", and we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for loss of profits or data, arising from your use of the service. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law — including for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain exclusions, so parts of this section may not apply to you.

Nothing here affects the statutory rights you have as a consumer.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by the "Last updated" date above, and we will give notice where the change meaningfully affects you. Continuing to use the service after a change means you accept it.
